Hot Water Extraction Carpet Cleaning Prague – BeeClean

Hot Water Extraction Carpet Cleaning in Prague – The Deep Clean That Actually Works
Hot water extraction – often called steam cleaning, though technically distinct – is the most thorough method for cleaning carpets and the one recommended by most carpet manufacturers for periodic deep cleaning. At BeeClean, we use truck-mounted and portable extraction equipment to tackle heavily soiled carpets, pet odours, dust mite infestations, and stains that regular vacuuming simply cannot reach.
The Process Explained
Our extraction machines inject a precisely controlled mixture of hot water (70–90°C) and professional cleaning solution directly into the carpet pile under pressure. The heat breaks down embedded grease, bacteria, and organic matter while the cleaning agent encapsulates soil particles. Immediately afterwards, a powerful vacuum head extracts the water along with all the loosened contaminants. The carpet is left damp but not saturated – the extraction removes approximately 95% of the moisture it injects.
When Is Extraction the Right Choice?
- Visible stains from coffee, red wine, food, or pet accidents
- Pet odours that have penetrated the carpet fibres and backing
- Allergies or asthma – extraction removes dust mites, pollen, and dander that accumulate in carpets
- Carpets that have not had a deep clean in over 12 months
- Post-renovation dust and construction debris embedded in the pile
Before We Arrive – What to Prepare
Move small furniture and objects off the carpet if possible. Our technician will thoroughly pre-vacuum with an industrial machine before the extraction begins – this step is essential and skipping it would compromise the final result. We will handle everything from that point.
Drying Time
Expect the carpet to be damp for 4–8 hours, depending on pile depth, material, and room ventilation. Open windows, run a fan, or rely on underfloor heating to speed things up. You can walk on the carpet straight away in clean socks – just avoid shoes until it is fully dry.

What to Expect When the Carpet Dries
Once fully dry, the transformation is usually striking. Colours look more vivid, fibres stand upright, and the unpleasant odours are gone. Carpets that looked ready for the skip often have years of life left in them after a proper extraction clean.
