Marble Crystallisation Prague – Shine and Protection for Marble Floors

Marble Crystallisation in Prague – Restoring Shine and Hardness to Marble Floors
Marble floors are beautiful, but they require specialised care to stay that way. Over time marble loses its shine, the surface becomes dull, and foot traffic leaves a trail of scratches and scuff marks. BeeClean provides professional marble crystallisation in Prague – a chemical-mechanical process that restores the original mirror-like shine and simultaneously increases the hardness and durability of the surface.
What Marble Crystallisation Is
Crystallisation is a chemical reaction between a specialist compound and the marble surface, activated by the heat generated by a rotating disc machine. The result is a harder, denser surface layer with a high-gloss finish. Unlike standard polishing, which only mechanically buffs the surface, crystallisation changes the actual microstructure of the marble. The treated surface is more resistant to scuffs, picks up stains less easily, and is far simpler to maintain.
When Crystallisation Is the Right Solution
- The floor has lost its shine and looks dull or grey
- Visible scratches and foot traffic marks are present on the surface
- The marble is porous and absorbs stains from coffee, wine, or oil
- You want to increase floor durability without grinding or replacing the stone
- Regular machine polishing is no longer achieving the desired result
The Crystallisation Process
- Thorough deep cleaning of the marble surface, removing residual wax and cleaning product build-up
- Localised grinding or scratch repair where required
- Application of the crystallisation compound in strips across the floor
- Machine processing using a single-disc machine with steel wool pads
- Buffing to a high mirror polish
- Final inspection and touch-up of problem areas
Stone Types We Work With
We crystallise all calcite-based stones: white and coloured marble, travertine, limestone, and marble wall cladding and stair treads. Granite and other silicate stones are not suitable for crystallisation – for these we use dedicated polishing and impregnation methods.
How Long the Results Last
With correct maintenance products, the crystallisation results typically last one to three years. Avoid acidic cleaning products, which reactivate the surface chemistry and damage the crystallised layer. We also offer regular maintenance polishing to extend the life of the treatment.
Pricing
Prices depend on the floor area and surface condition, typically 200–400 CZK per square metre. Smaller areas under 20 m² may be quoted at an hourly rate. Contact us for a free on-site assessment and quote.
